About Us

Steve was born in England. His father is Irish and mother is English. He was baptized an Anglican, went to methodist sunday school, went to catholic cub scouts turned GOTH at 15years old and met Jesus personally at age 21. Emma was born in England. Her parents are English. She too turned GOTH at 15yrs after being baptised and confirmed an Anglican. she met Jesus personally at age 20. We met in a hells Angels bar in 1986.

We both have a real heart for unwanted children. Steve and Emma walk with a permanent burden on their heart for the pain of rejected children. They are foster carers and welcome children of all backgrounds to their home. Some are permanent, some are temporary and stay only for one night. Recently they adopted a beautiful baby girl called Promise. She has down syndrome and recently has recently been diagnosed with chronic lung and liver disease. She is also recovering from heart surgery. We presently have 8 children with another on the way.

For a couple of years God has been planting deeply into the Central plateau region of New Zealand. We work alongside a few great local churches. Our home church is Taumarunui Baptist church. our Pastor (Bob Sinclair) has been so supportive of our time in Taumarunui. He has opened wide his heart to us and welcomed all that the Lord has been doing amongst us over the past few years.
One of the significant things has been the establishment of a 24-7 prayer room in the Centre of Taumarunui. It is here we have planted a small Bible training school called FIRE school (please see www.fire.school.nz for more details). This school has steadily deepened over the months with the invitation to help develop a similar model school in the township of Raetihi (70km south) and Turangi (50km east). 

Other work in New Zealand is alongside Above Rubies. We are please to be associated with such a great work worldwide encouraging families and strengthening Mothers in the call of Motherhood. (see ww.aboverubies.org for more details)

Our overseas work takes us to England to visit many of our supporting friends and churches in Luton, Leicester, Banbury, Middleton Cheney, Warwick and Crewe. We have also had the privilege of traveling to minister in the USA, Poland, Ireland, Kazakhstan, Philippines, Holland, Germany, Guyana and Russia.
Most of this work has been small 'hands-on' type ministry with local churches and bible schools, helping to release folks in to the awesome Father heart of God and experiencing His holy presence. Training leaders, Street evangelism and church planting have also been a part of our time in foreign countries.

We are happy to consider invitations to minister at Bible schools, Churches, schools and city wide meetings. We are very flexible in our approach to ministry. We are happy in aggressive street evangelism setting to more laid back lounge type testimony times. We are please to teach and train on a wide variety of topics.
